Traces of Dallas

If fingers have been wiped on your brand new bath towel instead of your hand towels, and the fingers were covered in lasagna (despite arguments that the fingers were washed first),
you might be feeding Dallas.

If there's a mess in your kitchen after breakfast that hasn't been cleaned, and the mess includes a new spatula that was purchased to replace the one Dallas broke previously,
you might have Dallas for a chef.

If there are worn-out, filthy, holey, stinky socks on your floor that migrate from room to room instead of getting picked up,
you might have Dallas in your house.

If a hole gets punched in your window while your house is being remodeled,
you might have Dallas as a helper.

If your bike's shifting mechanism is hanging loose because it was mysteriously broken,
you might have lent your bike to Dallas.

I give Dallas a hard time because he's rough and clumsy, but I love him and I'd take all the messes and breakage just to have him around. He's a good kid and such a good sport. We give him a hard time, but he's all heart.

We had a bunch of Cluffs at our house this week (Sun-Thurs). Ammon, Kaylynn, Braden, Jasmine, Dallas and Weston all came up. It was fun having them around, and they helped with some demo on our house.

We watched movies.

They slept in a tent.

Here's some results of the demo.
This is the guest room and entry.

The kitchen and the dining room (notice Dallas is working barefoot as always).

The sitting room.

If you could see the ceiling closer, you'd notice that it's a twin to the old lady's ceiling in Ratatouille. The ceiling is one solid rat's nest, poo and all. There was also a good leak from the bathroom above that rotted out some of the ceiling boards.

You have alot of work to do. I praise you guys. I would never buy a house that I have to put that much work into. Me and Darin are too lazy. It better be nice when we move in or we won't be moving in.

wow, I so commend you two for taking on that incredible home! It will be beautiful when your done, but the road is seeming very long right now!! Although you have made leaps and bounds from where it was. I love being able to put our Stamp on our house but it can get very frustrating too, so I truly look up to the Queen & King of remodel.
