For Memorial Day this year we're using up our air miles to go visit Tasha down in San Diego. This will be our big summer vacation, and maybe Hyrum's only chance to get away. We're getting the 3-in-1 pass and hitting Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, and the Wild Animal Park while we're there. Also, we'll hopefully get to go to some model homes (since there's almost no such thing here in the Oregon Bay Area), the beach, Balboa Park, and the hotel (that's supposed to be in Florida) from "Some Like It Hot" where Sweet Sue's band stays and Daphne (Jack Lemmon) gets hit on by the old millionaire. (If you haven't seen "Some Like It Hot," you'd better rent it because you just can't say you've lived a full life until you've seen it. It's a MUST see and at the top of the Cluff's favorite movie list. It has Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and some other great stars.)

We did that trip last fall and it was so much fun. I had never been to the Wild Animal Park and it was almost my favorite part. I hope you didn't miss the elephant show there. It was a highlight!
